Pain In Leg More Condition_symptoms

Logon Windows XP on NT4 domain

CAP Services us about this interesting solution to a problem they have had. Results that have set up a domain with a NT4 Server and although customers can enter the domain with Windows XP then they could not log. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/318266/es

Basically the problem is that Windows XP try to sign or seal a secure channel by default but Windows NT 4 does not support this operation by default.
One possible solution is to ask the XP do not try to seal the channel. To this we must do NEXT:
1 - Open

Administrative Tools (Control Panel

)
2 - Double click Local Security Policy 3 - Local Policies \\ Security Options Double-clicking
in Domain member: Digitally encrypt or sign secure channel data (always) and disable
With this we should be able to log into the domain (and would have lowered the level of security:)) Another option would be to follow the instructions sgte link to enable the secure channels in the NT 4 domain controller: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/183859/

Here you need to install the latest service pack available and edit the registry ... if you dare try and tell us .. :)
