Yesterday I went to Mexico City and found a totally different scenario. I took my precautions and I left my house well in advance so I approached my destination I noticed quiet madness of this great city.
Until a couple of months I had never been to Mexico City as well, my first visit was to go to Six Flags, always in the comfort of a car that did not need my help to get to your destination. After going to concerts, my father took me but when their encampment in Peje Reform put my dad gave me the blessing and told me he could not go by me, I was underground.
remember that first time on the subway, I nearly fell over when I started!, But I survived. Then came other times I to use this means of transport but always very quiet at times in which almost no passengers, so the experience yesterday was interesting.
To get to my appointment had to take the subway and transfer a couple of times. I bought my tickets ($ 2.00 each) and ran to the platform. I noticed that everyone was running, all were in a hurry as I even had several children running a hurry. Transfer the first time and let myself be enveloped by the mass of people walking with me, everyone was running, even on the escalator and I followed because I did not know how much time would pass before reaching my destination.
change once more but I saw the clock, missing 1 hour for my appointment and I just go missing one season, then I relaxed and stared at me you people do not know why I was so stressed out laughing faces, their haste, their eagerness to reach the Metro was parked completely full and did not care how the crush, push the next door.
This time I had that separate men and women, I went next to the girls and saw a sign saying "ladies only, sorry gentlemen" XD. It was strange but I do not want to imagine how awful it would be with men and their arrimones in those stopping them.
I fixed my issue in the "city of hope" and he'd come back, I missed only a little. I came to the right station but the direction of the metro was not that I wanted to take, I was a little scared because I looked for signs and found none to show me my way, I several times until a guy asked me where to go, I told him and he very kindly helped me find where it was. In my town nobody had helped me haha.
A different experience, the City is certainly a different world for me.
