We can access a computer with Windows XP to remotely manage
enabling the "Remote Desktop"
.

We note that in this mode if you log remotely closed the local session. If you do not want this you must use the option "Remote Assistance."

To activate the "Remote Desktop" right click on My Computer and go to the Remote tab. There
select the option "Allow users to connect remotely to this computer"
as shown in the sgte. Figure:


order to connect to "Remote Desktop" must belong to one of the local groups ff "Administrators" or

"Remote Desktop Users" . If the window of the figure we click the button "Select Users " can add users may connect and be added to the group " Remote Desktop Users "
.
Enabling" Remote Desktop " will add an exception in the " Windows Firewall "to open
port 3389. And if we connect the computer to travez a router or firewall this port should be open in order to connect.
